Welcome to the HTML version of the Text Adventure Development System (TADS) documentation. Note that this is a direct conversion of the original TeX files into HTML. No effort has been made to consolidate the various releases and update the manual into a self-consistent and complete whole. As a result the TADS 2.0 manual, for example, doesn't include any of the new features, bug fixes and improvements available in TADS 2.1 and 2.2.
The TADS 2.2 Release Notes and TADSVER files contain the most accurate list of changes and improvements that have been made to TADS since version 2.0 was released. In particular, Part II of the 2.2 Release Notes replaces Chapter Four of the TADS 2.0 manual.
